It took me 42 years—and one wise, loving daughter—to realize something had to change. At the time, I was over 100 pounds overweight, working 55+ hours a week in a high-stress job, and running on empty. I was exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. I had very little energy left for myself, my family, or the life I actually wanted to be living.
Our dinners were frozen pizza, boxed mac and cheese, and whatever was fastest and easiest. We rushed from one activity to the next. When I say rushed, I mean the car drove fast… I certainly wasn’t running anywhere.
I wasn’t sleeping well. My hormones felt completely out of sync. My body felt like a stranger, and not a very kind one.
And like so many women, I kept trying the same cycle: diet… lose weight… gain it back… and start again.
The real turning point came when I looked at my daughter and realized something important. If I wanted her to grow up seeing what it looked like to care for her body, trust her instincts, and live with energy and confidence… I had to become that example.
So I started learning. I surrounded myself with wellness professionals. I began studying nutrition, metabolism, hormones, and gut health. I experimented, adjusted, and slowly rebuilt my relationship with food and my body. What began as a personal journey eventually became a calling.
Today, I’m a Certified Integrative Health Coach with advanced training in metabolic health, hormone balance, and autoimmune support. For more than 12 years I’ve been deeply engaged in my own health journey, and for the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege of supporting other women as a coach. I understand how confusing this stage of life can feel… and how powerful the right support can be.
